RebloomingReblooming iris seem like a dream come true for me. These varieties will bloom at their normal time, whether early, midseason, or late, then after a dormant resting period of 60 days or so, they will tend to rebloom. We're located in Northwest Missouri, and our reblooming season is generally mid August to early September. Not all varieties will rebloom in all areas of the country. All reblooming iris can be encouraged to rebloom with extra water during a dry spell, and with an additional light sprinkling of fertilizer shortly after their spring bloom season. As we identify reliable reblooming varieties in our own fields, we will add that to our listings. Many of these varieties are also fragrant; all are beautiful. All iris prefer a sunny location and well-drained soil. They do not like soggy conditions.
